Energy and production indicators are often influenced by environmental factors, material quality, and transport conditions. In order to recognize this, numerous other sensor data would have to be collected in addition to the energy data collection.
Due to the standardization of IoT technology with the introduction of the long-range wide-area network (LoRaWAN), a wireless and cost-effective collection method for sensor data is available. With just one IoT gateway, data can be collected from low-cost sensors within a radius of more than 1 km², which can be positioned virtually anywhere due to their battery operation. Very long battery lifetimes (typically ten years) ensure long-term, maintenance-free operation.
Berg offers a selection of reliable IoT sensors relevant to energy data management.
Regardless of whether an IoT infrastructure already exists or whether an introduction is currently being considered, the Berg IoT cloud solution ensures secure data acquisition and integration into the Efficio energy management software without having to provide know-how and infrastructure within the company itself. We are happy to provide consulting services for the introduction of IoT data acquisition, for the selection of suitable sensors, and for analysis options with the aim of increasing energy efficiency and product quality.
